The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) formally launched their Online Distribution System (ODiSy), during the PSE Roadshow participated by Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo at the Manila Peninsula Hotel yesterday. ODiSy allows the PSE to release vital corporate information from listed companies in a timely and simultaneous manner to all market participants.
With ODiSy's implementation, PSE can continue to provide a fair, efficient, transparent, and orderly trading operations - making it comparable to global stock markets. Aside from the enhanced service the PSE is able to provide the organization's members and the general public, the use of ODiSy promotes an internal system that is more efficient and cost-effective.
Developed by Active Business Solutions, Inc., (/a/b/s/) ODiSy uses a secured, web-based workflow running on the Oracle Workflow as the messaging and workflow engine. Led by Erik Roque, /a/b/s/' team of software engineers built a web-based system implemented in Java Server technologies (Servlet/JSP) on Oracle 8i RDBMS, and deployed on Oracle Internet Application Servers.
